Binay is known for drawing inspiration from simple objects that are often overlooked or ignored. He transforms these aesthetically challenged items into powerful art pieces with a compassionate touch. One of his notable installations, using sewage drain lines at the College of Art campus in Delhi, garnered attention in the art circles back in 2000.

His subjects are often tiny, weak, forgotten, and deemed useless in contemporary society. His works reflect the irony of life, which sometimes mirrors the same struggles. He highlights how people around us can be neglected due to their inability to keep up with the fast pace of modern life.

His sculptures expose this hypocrisy, urging us to support those in need—our elders, children, the weak, and the poor. He emphasizes that a prosperous future is built on a strong and well-cared-for foundation. We must remember and honor our beginnings, even as we are captivated by the glitter of an unknown future.
